I taught physical education at Birmingham Boys' School in Birmingham from 1991 to 2007. Most days I taught Year 10, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
