Mbali F. Nel
Painter, potter and teacher at George Art Collective
- 🇿🇦 George, Western Cape, South Africa
- George Art Collective
- Since 2004
- English, Zulu
I work mostly in ceramics, sometimes woodcarving. My first show was in 2004 at George Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at George Art Collective, which keeps me honest.
More about Mbali
I've had 11 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Mbali: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
