Mbali D. Van der Merwe
Choir director and singer
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Johannesburg Ensemble
- 2011 to 2023
- English
I play accordion and choir direction. I started in 2011 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
More about Mbali
I wrote my first song when I was 13. It was terrible and I still love it.
