Mazen Yusuf Mostafa
Self-taught oil painting artist
- 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
- Cairo Art Collective
- Since 1990
- English, Arabic
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes graphic design. My first show was in 1990 at Cairo Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Cairo Art Collective, which keeps me honest.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mazen
I've had 11 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Mazen: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
