Maya W. Beck
Teacher at Crescent High School, loves French
- 🇳🇿 Manukau, Auckland, New Zealand
- Since 1980
- English
For 46 years I have been the French teacher at Crescent High School. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, my door is open at lunch.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Maya
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Maya: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
