For 29 years I have been the French teacher at Fairview Public School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I run most mornings.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Maya
If you were in my first-year students class, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

What gifts mean to Maya: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
