I farm vineyards near Los Angeles. The land was my family's before me and I hope it will be someone's after me.
I teach local school groups about where food comes from. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Maya: Any gift will help me fix the irrigation before the dry months.
