Maya Novi Yuliani

34 years teaching English literature in Bandung

  • 🇮🇩 Bandung, West Java, Indonesia
  • Oakwood Academy
  • 1983 to 2018
  • English, Indonesian
For 35 years I was the English literature teacher at Oakwood Academy. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
