Maya Lia Tan
Teacher at Victory Academy, loves Spanish
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Victory Academy
- 2008 to 2017
- English, Spanish
Victory Academy was my second home. I taught Spanish there from 2008 to 2017, mostly the youngest children.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Maya
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Maya: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You probably don't remember me, I sat by the window in 2008. I remember you. Greetings from Dnipro.
