I've spent 19 years as a lecturer in philosophy at Cedar Grove Institute of Technology in London. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more. Former students now work as a farmhand and in a dozen other fields. It is the best part of this job. I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Maya: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
