Maya Indah Pratama
Calligraphy and illustration artist
- 🇮🇩 Bekasi, West Java, Indonesia
- Bekasi Art Collective
- 2001 to 2022
- English, Indonesian, French
I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes illustration. My first show was in 2001 at Bekasi Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Bekasi Art Collective, which keeps me honest.
More about Maya
I've had 8 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Maya: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
