Our Lady of Peace Public School was my second home. I taught Spanish there from 1996 to 2009, mostly the final-year class.
Over the years I had 330 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
What gifts mean to Maya: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
