Maya Gita Hakim

25 years teaching home economics in Jakarta

  • 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
  • Oakwood Boys' School
  • 2015 to 2023
  • English, Indonesian
I taught home economics and music at Oakwood Boys' School, Jakarta. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term. I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

More about Maya

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

you taught me home economics in 2020 at Oakwood Boys' School. I still remember the long bus ride home.
