Maya A. Perry

Choir director and singer

  • 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
  • Oakland Band
  • 1982 to 2015
  • English
I've played sitar from 1982 to 2015, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach. I teach about 6 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I fix old bicycles. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Maya

I wrote my first song when I was 15. It was terrible and I still love it.
