Maya A. Kirby
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Dallas, Texas, United States
- 1980 to 2001
- English
I've worked in thatching from 1980 to 2001. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 710 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I run most mornings.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Maya: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
