I've coached boxing at Bamboo Community Club since 2000. Most of my players were between 8 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Mavis
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
