Maverick R. Santiago
Agriculture teacher at Los Angeles Secondary School, 1985 to 2007

- Los Angeles Secondary School
- 1985 to 2007
- English, Spanish
Los Angeles Secondary School was my second home. I taught agriculture there from 1985 to 2007, mostly first-year students.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Maverick
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Maverick: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
