For 48 years I have been the home economics teacher at Lotus Academy. I teach Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 2,300 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Maverick
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
