Youth boxing coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States

- 1999 to 2014

I coached boxing at San Francisco Meadowbank Swimming Club from 1999 to 2014. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Maverick: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
