Maverick J. Kelley
Helping people break into law school
- 🇺🇸 Bakersfield, California, United States
- Bakersfield Learning Hub
- 1997 to 2011
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 360 people through Bakersfield Learning Hub.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I'm always reading two books at once.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Maverick
If I mentored you, I hope you're still pushing yourself.

What gifts mean to Maverick: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
