Maverick H. Diaz
Traditional drumming and oud teacher
- 🇨🇦 Toronto, Ontario, Canada
- Toronto Band
- 1986 to 2010
- English
I play traditional drumming and oud. I started in 1986 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 19 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I walk the dog by the river.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Maverick
I wrote my first song when I was 19. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Maverick: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
