Maverick B. Walker

First-generation students mentor, Birmingham

  • 🇬🇧 Birmingham, England, United Kingdom
  • Sunrise Learning Hub
  • 2002 to 2011
  • English
I'm a mentor in first-generation students. I spent my career as a bus driver and now give some of that back. I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I bake for the whole street at New Year. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Maverick

Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
