Mauricio R. Díaz

Professor of materials science, Alcalá de Henares Institute of Technology

I've spent 22 years as a lecturer in materials science at Alcalá de Henares Institute of Technology in Alcalá de Henares. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I garden badly but happily.

What gifts mean to Mauricio: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
