Mauricio N. Ibarra

Mentor in first-generation students and farming

  • 🇲🇽 Coyoacán, Ciudad de México, Mexico
  • Good Shepherd Community Trust
  • Since 1998
  • Spanish
I'm a mentor in first-generation students. I've spent my career as a radio technician and now give some of that back. Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites. I'm still learning every day.

More about Mauricio

Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.

What gifts mean to Mauricio: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
