I teach home economics and special education at Tuxtla Gutiérrez Academy, Tuxtla Gutiérrez. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I've had 420 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mauricio
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mauricio: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
