For 39 years I have been the history teacher at Los Angeles Grammar School. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I answer every email, even at midnight.
More about Mauricio
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
