I coached hockey at Unity Community Club from 1981 to 2008. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Mattia
If you played for me, you probably remember the time the class pet escaped.
What gifts mean to Mattia: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
