Matthias Ben Bergmann
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇩🇪 Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany
- Since 1992
- German
I've worked in thatching since 1992. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 1,840 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I run most mornings.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Matthias: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
