I teach history and mathematics at Parkside Technical College, London. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 2,480 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Matthew
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
