Matteo Paolo Bellini
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇹 Salerno, Campania, Italy
- Salerno Trades Guild
- 1982 to 2020
- English
My trade is thatching. I opened my own shop in 1982 in Salerno and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 23 years later for another job.
More about Matteo
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

You fixed our roof in 1984 and charged half what others asked! Thank you again.
