Coached chess for 40 years in Latina
- 🇮🇹 Latina, Lazio, Italy
- Latina Athletic Club
- Since 1986
- Italian
For 40 years I've run the chess program at Latina Athletic Club in Latina. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Matteo
If you played for me, you probably remember the surprise birthday cake.
What gifts mean to Matteo: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
