Matilde Sartori

Computer science and economics teacher, Palermo

I teach computer science at Victory Technical College in Palermo since 1979. Most days I teach the youngest children, and I never raise my voice. Over the years I've had 1,320 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Matilde: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
