Mathieu Lucas Leroux
Taught early years at Eastgate Technical College
- 🇫🇷 Marseille, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France
- Eastgate Technical College
- 2008 to 2025
- English, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 17 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I ran the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mathieu
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mathieu: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

you taught me early years in 2023 at Eastgate Technical College. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Truly.
