Mateusz Ryszard Jakubowski
Self-taught mural painting artist
- 🇵🇱 Radom, Masovia, Poland
- Old Kilimanjaro Gallery
- Since 2000
- Polish
I work mostly in mural painting, sometimes watercolor. My first show was in 2000 at Old Kilimanjaro Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Mateusz: Any gift helps me keep the free Saturday class running.
