For 29 years I was the music teacher at Summit Middle School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mateus
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mateus: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
