Mateo W. Schwartz
Organic chemistry lecturer, 1990 to 2023

- 1990 to 2023
- English
My subject is organic chemistry, and for 33 years I got to share it with undergraduates at Acacia State University.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Mateo: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
