I teach special education at Cedar Grove Technical College in San Francisco since 1983. Most days I teach Grade 11, and I never turn anyone away.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mateo
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
