I'm a embroidery artist based in Austin. I've been making things since 1990 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
I also teach a weekly class at Jacaranda Art Collective, which keeps me honest.
More about Mateo
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Mateo: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
