I've been a nurse for 15 years, most of them in elder care at Bowling Green Children's Hospital in Bowling Green. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
