Mateo H. Quintero
Youth athletics coach and mentor
- 🇲🇽 León, Guanajuato, Mexico
- Unity Athletic Club

- Spanish
I've coached athletics at Unity Athletic Club since 2006. Most of my players were between 8 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Mateo
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Mateo: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
