For 18 years I have been the geography teacher at Auckland Middle School. I teach Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mateo
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mateo: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
