I coached cricket at San Diego Athletic Club from 1987 to 2011. Most of my players were between 10 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

If you played for me, you probably remember the rainy sports day.
What gifts mean to Mateo: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
