I work mostly in illustration, sometimes calligraphy. My first show was in 1981 at Hope Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Hope Studio, which keeps me honest.
What gifts mean to Mateo: Any gift helps me keep the free Saturday class running.

I bought one of your pieces in 1998. It's still the first thing I see in the morning. Greetings from Mohammedia.
