Mateo C. Fuentes
Master of shoemaking, now teaching apprentices
- 🇨🇴 Cartagena, Bolívar, Colombia
- Cartagena Works
- Since 2016
- English, Spanish
I'm a shoemaking specialist. If you live around Cartagena, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Mateo
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Mateo: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
