Mateo B. Ibarra

Wrestling and fitness coach, Guadalajara

  • 🇲🇽 Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico

  • 1980 to 2000

I coached wrestling at Hillcrest Community Club from 1980 to 2000. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
