I teach Spanish at St. Anne's Girls' School in Ciudad de México since 2003. Most days I teach first-year students, and I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I've had 620 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mateo
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mateo: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
