Mateo A. Vargas

Taught special education at Phoenix High School

  • 🇨🇴 Cartagena, Bolívar, Colombia
  • Phoenix High School
  • 1992 to 2019
  • Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 27 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Over the years I had 1,300 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Mateo

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
