I've coached badminton at Anaheim Acacia Boxing Gym since 2012. Most of my players were between 8 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Mason: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
