Masaru Shibata

Teacher at Setagaya Grammar School, loves music

  • 🇯🇵 Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan
  • Setagaya Grammar School
  • Since 1998
  • Japanese
For 28 years I have been the music teacher at Setagaya Grammar School. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Masaru

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Masaru: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
