Masaru Kenta Kondo
Jewelry and illustration artist
- 🇯🇵 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
- Heritage Pottery
- 1978 to 1997
- Japanese
I work mostly in jewelry, sometimes illustration. My first show was in 1978 at Heritage Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by my grandmother's kitchen. I sing in a choir.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Masaru
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.

What gifts mean to Masaru: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
